Constantly we seek outer union as to collide with the inner is to back the ego against the wall.  Only few survive the corners where there is no escape except back into oneself.  The eye shattered to a billion pieces.  Over and done.  The ego collapsed, we either become stronger or fall into psychosis; return or develop a place in the psyche where total annihilation takes place.  From then on it’s forever threading ourselves back to the point of breaking in hopes to give the ego a second chance to survive the chaos.  The picture of the psyche is the world.  We are ourselves inside projected outside and making the world.  We are all that is.
